Erie County Divorce Records
The Erie County Clerk handles divorce records. Divorce records include the complaint filed, the divorce decree signed by a judge that legally terminates the marriage, pleadings filed by both parties, terms of settlement (if the parties settle), and docket entries. These records may also include information on the children, visitation schedule, custody, spousal support, alimony, and property division.
Divorce decrees and case files are managed by the Erie County Prothonotary. Interested individuals can search Erie County divorce records through the Erie County Prothonotary CourtPro system or via the statewide Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania.
